    Well, the Yamaha is MIJ and the PM2 is MIC. I think the obvious choice is obvious. The only thing keeping me hesitant on the Yamaha is the piezo. While cool to blend, it just has a preamp and a back plate. Maybe I'm just being superstitious, but it's just less wood for the cavities being there...

    Hey guys. I'm in the market for a jazz box. I'm gonna keep it short and sweet. My options are a used Japanese made Yamaha AEX1500 (1 neck pickup and piezo) Or an Ibanez PM2. I've played the aex1500 and the neck is fantastic. It's just when presented with a budget and options...
