Yeah and no.
I used to buy lots of different pickups, I've owned BKP: nailbombs, impulses, cobra, aftermath, painkiller, holydiver, SD: Sh4-6-8, alnico pro, black winter,..
Then I kind of stopped caring about it when I realized a 200€ upgrade wasn't necessarily better or even that different...
Same here actually. I really liked those as well. I have no experience with any other pickups from the Periphery dudes.
Tbh, those pups have gotten out of my budget anyway.
Damn.. 😁
While I really enjoyed the prequels and most Legends novels, (they got me on board of the Star Wars train) you're really not wrong.
And I totally agree, they should've left the Skywalker alone and start from scratch in the far future or somewhere in the past.
Kind of ironic actually. Disney is really putting forward the image of a strong, independent woman that doesn't need saving. Yet the one strong, Independant actress gets put aside because she has an opinion that is not in line with their image. Wether or not I agree with her is another matter...
Okay, super late to the party. But the sound you're referring to is the setting the majority of YouTube creators are using. The comb really has a huge range in sound. It's definetely one of the more versatile basses I've owned.
And about the wait time of the new P basses, it wouldn't surprise...
I'm fairly certain a lot of people loved it back then as well. Personally I think the shape works best as a bass. I owned an NJ Beast bass once and I loved.
I recall a lot more people scoffing the Beast V when that came out. I don't see that monstrosity returning anytime soon though..
