I've got another question for you. What pups have you had good experience with your JPs? I'm thinking a set of BKP Aftermaths since I'll probably have it set it in D-standard but thought I might ask.
Hey, do all the JPs come with the neck pickup screwed down as low as possible? I noticed it doesn't have any springs on the screws so do you shim the pup or add springs? I personally find the output too low with the neck pup so low compared to the bridge.
Hey bro, just wanted to let you know the strap and locks arrived safe and sound! Thanks again! You were right about the PRS screws, they're like twice as long as the schaller ones so better to use those after all!
ah, i always considered south florida everything below ft lauderdale, because from key west to ft lauderdale is like 250miles, which is a pretty decent drive lol
Wow, I'm so embarrassed. I really hope the guy I bought it from doesn't trip too much over the first e-mail and I don't feel like I said sorry enough in the following email. They're indeed V30s in there and I indeed jump to conclusions too quickly. I just don't get why it'd say 100w on the jackplate.
Anyways, the jackplate falls apart verrry easily from just the slight overtightening I accidentally did on one corner so do you know where I can buy a nice metal replacement?
I'll take a picture soon of the "100w" printed on it.
Darn thing got me worried sick for a good few hours straight.
Yeah it's a legacy cab, I just posted a thread if you don't mind peeping it regarding this dilemma but I'll pull off the back plate right now.
So bummed man, good thing I know where to get a pair of v30s here in a snap for a great price then I'll just have to worry about getting my money back for this cab or selling it for enough to get an empty 212 enclosure.
Yo dude, you've got the setup I'm pretty much saving towards
and I was just wondering 'cause I just recently got my Carvin cab, does it say 100w on the back of yours?
I would figure with the v30s it should say 240w
