I've got a diagram for basically what you want, minus the phase reversed middle position. The one I have is the inner coils in parallel, but I don't think it'd be too hard to adapt the diagram for the out of phase position.
Everything Max said :yesway:
As far as tuning stability, with a non-locking system the bridge isn't really that important. The nut and then tuners are what really matters. With a properly cut nut (Graphtech, bone, Tusq are all fine really) and good tuners, preferably locking, you probably...
I still haven't got Decon or Ghost  Having no money sucks!
I've been listening to Ki though, seriously every time I listen to it I like it more and more.
I've spent something like $6-8k on gear in the last year, and I don't gig.
I'm still planning out future purchases too :shred:
I don't buy gear often, but when I do I don't hold back:lol:
The faded tops on older Axis/EVH guitars are that way because of the dye used on them, nothing to do with the wood. Maybe you don't like the look, but I've seen some faded tops that looked very nice.
Its unreasonable to expect every top on all of their guitars will be amazing, because its a...
250k pots with humbuckers will be very dark sounding. The only humbucker I've heard that sounds good with 250k pots is the Seymour Duncan JB.
You can also use a 1M (1000k) volume pot, which will be a little bit brighter and give you a little bit more output, many people like them with slightly...
This. I already had Worms though:lol:
They do need to get more games compatible with Macs. I'm no expert, but judging by all the ports you can find on torrent sites its obviously not a huge thing now that Macs have gone to Intel.
I want Serious Sam! :realmad:
You shouldn't need to turn the volume down to stop clipping.
In all the clips of Blackouts I've heard, they've been very noisy, not hum but you could hear the players hand on the body, like they were very microphonic. One guy was tapping on the pickup, and it was coming through almost as loud...
Was it 3 magnet types or 3 magnet sizes? I know the Bareknuckle Painkiller and Aftermath have 3 different sized magnets in them, rather than just a single bar magnet.
I had the same thought a while ago. I haven't actually tried any magnet swaps like that, but I think the ceramic magnet would over-power the alnico side a bit. Obviously there would be quite a bit of interaction between the two as well.
Running an active neck pickup and passive bridge pickup isn't that simple. Active pickups use 25k pots, passives use 250/500k, so if you try to run them both together one of the pickups is going to have an impedance mismatch.
To run both actives and passives in one guitar, you basically have to...
Not really. I've only been playing for about 4 days and I've been doing pretty well online. Everyone gets killed a fair bit, even the people who've been playing for ages.
Ones you can get through achievements are still available, but thats it. You get the Ghastly Gibus by killing someone else who's wearing one, its an achievement.
Yeah, but there are less features. Your backpack is smaller (you can't have as many items) and you cant find hats. Everything else is the same, and if you spend any money at all in the game store (which you probably will, because you find crates in the game that you need to buy a key to open...
I got my picks today. I received a Striker Mini 1.5mm and Classic Mini 3mm.
Both are very grippy, they don't slip in my fingers at all (I sometimes have that problem with Jazz III's)
The tip of the Striker is a bit too rounded for my tastes, but I'm used to the sharp tip of Jazz III's so thats...
