I loved the one I had, I think it was a 2004 or 2005 model, made in Indonesia. Great guitars to mod.
I seen a newer one at GC and thought the quality had wen't down on them quite a bit compared to the older models. Could have just been that one, but the neck wood looked kind of "off" and just...
If your wanting a pick up good for chording with moderate levels of gain, the Blaze 7 is good for that. It's also pretty "djent"-y I guess, It's mid's are scooped which makes it really tight and gives it clarity.
But if you can get it, about everyone on here uses a BKP of some type.
My "local" music shops are an hour away and carry nothing that great. My favorite out of the three though does carry some decent Charvels and have a pretty big selection of Hammer's still, but everything is outragously priced, same place also called me a liar and thought it was funny when I said...
That's sexy as hell. HNGD!
Does anybody know if Carvin will ever start offering fan frets? That wood combination with a fan would look amazing. :agreed:
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (3DS lol)
For a handheld game its crazy addictive (got it last thursday evening and I already have 20+ hours on it) has a ton of stuff to do and lots of items/weapons/armor. Not got to do the online yet.
Here's a review if there are any other 3DS gamers or anybody...
Fender makes really good amps (IMO). I've been using a 95' Ulitimate Chorus (2x12 150 Watt Combo) for around 2 1/2 - 3 years now and love it. Has amazing cleans and handles distortion very well, after I got a 31 band EQ I can just about get whatever tone I'm looking for.
For around $1k you...
Seems like you got it figured out, it all sounds good. Be sure to post some pics of the finished product!
Would the airbrush paint stick to the EMG's? Maybe throw a couple spots on them. That would really tie it all together, if I'm not wrong their pretty bright.
Gold plated EMGs would probably...
What do you guys use to clean/oil the fretboard? Over the last 4 years or so I've been putting a very small amount of baby oil on like a paper towl or rag and use it to oil the fretboard whenever I change strings,(gives the fret board a very nice darker look and it does keep it from dryng out...
Interesting :agreed:, but NASA has been saying that Mars could have supported life since they first started sending satellites, I kind of wish they would say something new for once. It was a nice read and the pictures are really cool though. Here's something that may interest people too:

Hey, I think this is the right place to post this but I've had a Pod UX2 for awhile and I have the pod farm program installed on my laptop and while I'm playing it randomly cuts in and out sometimes like a kind of lag in sound.
Has anybody else experinced this?
Its a gateway laptop - 4 gigs RAM...
Turned out great man :agreed:
When I sanded my 7321 down (older bridge model) there were two big cracks in the top. But I got it off eBay for like $200~ and the guy didn't know anything about the guitar other then it had 7 strings so theres no telling what it went through.
Welcome!
Think your in a redneck town lol I live in the most Southern part of KY... enough said. We just got a McDonalds a few months ago and it looks about as nice as the bank sitting next to it haha.
