    I do not like a bassy sound, its about 10 o clock. Other controls are: gain at 10 o clock, mids on 2, highs on 9-10 and presence on 1-2. I dont use ovedrive pedal, just fireball second chanel, and for crunch I just roll of some volume on guitar.
