    First 7-string! Need advice!

    I never played that SC but I played his last model and it was surprisingly awesome. The neck was great. So if the this model is similar (the neck) I'd say get that. If it isn't, I think the Blackjack is really good too but it has a thicker neck.

    They are about a quater of an inch from the strings. I haven't adjusted them at all. Been that way for years. The pick ups have worked fine for a couple of years so I don't think it's a mis-match.

    Yeah, used to happen to me a lot. Then I just stopped telling them. Funny enough, most people don't even realize that I'm playing 7 string until 2nd or 3rd jam.:lol:
