I haven't seen many used Wizard cabs in Canada even though they're made in Canada, mind you I haven't really started looking until recently. I bought mine new and direct from Wizard. Their HQ is an hour from me so I got the cab pretty quick and saved on shipping, it was a win-win for me. The...
Thanks man! I'm pretty happy with the way the color scheme turned out too. I was worried the silver piping would be too flashy but in real life I think everything came together. I'm a big fan of white amps and cabs. Fortunately for me, they don't leave the house often.
You know...
I know what you mean, I had a 1x12 for a while plugged into a 100W head! 2x12 is the way to go for me at home. In fact I like them so much that I got my second 2x12 this morning!

Just got this in this morning. Wizard 2x12 convertible cab, 14" deep, multi dispersion front, loaded with Creamback G12M65 wired for 16 Ohm mono. It's solidly built, fairly transportable. I haven't spent much time with it so far but it sounds big, definitely not lacking in bottom end. I'll...
I've not had good experiences with ceramic bridge humbuckers, they always sounded shrill and piercing through my setup at times (Rhodes Colossus, bright switches off), I haven't had that problem with A5 bridge pups. I have yet to try magnet swapping.
I don't believe I've had problems with...
Nice. I actually like white in my rig as well. I was thinking of getting a white head shell at some point for my Rhodes, your post is adding to my motivation. :)
Good to see another ZR fan here. The ZR is my favorite system as well especially on the Prestige line with the intonation screw. It's low profile, works amazing, smart design and well executed. I wouldn't say it's perfect (would like to see an adjustable zero return tension and position) but...
Nice summary of how to set up a FR guitar properly. :yesway: I change strings one at a time instead but that's just my preference.
I certainly don't have Floydphobia. I have the opposite experience actually where my fixed bridge is less stable and my non-locking JP100 can't hold its tune even...
In a pinch, you could always use the "Phones" 1/4" stereo output as well (I'm assuming it'll sound exactly like the USB output). Would be interesting to hear the 10X through a PA.
"But it's less expensive AND much safer than motorcycling! I couldn't even get 1/2 of a BMW HP4 with the guitar gear I have!"
"That's not new, I've had this one a while already! Really!"
"Sorry, but it's past the return period now!"
"But it was a deal, I saved money!"
"Well you know I can...
GG's proto gives me some hope that Charvel will work some of his changes down to their future models of all price ranges, and I think that's why the proto is significant to me. I will never understand why in this day and age anyone should still need to remove the neck to adjust the truss rod...
Nomades 2x12 with V30s, similar dimensions to a Mesa 2x12 except mine was made 4" taller. I really like the Colossus with V30s. I find the amp's clarity magnifies the guitar's natural tone, so if you're finding too much bass then it could be as you say the pups and guitar aren't jiving. Have...
HNAD and welcome to the club! :scream::shred:
I listened to a lot of clips of the Colossus before buying mine honestly I hadn't heard a bad one. The clarity is remarkable. I don't have a fixed style as I like to experiment so the 4 channels suits me as well. I haven't GASed for another...
HNGD! I already believed the Elites are the best bang for buck guitars of 2013 so seeing what you paid for your M-II it's a total steal. I have a LTD Elite H-III and the workmanship and build quality on it is right up there with much more expensive guitars, it's also one of my best sounding...
