There's a couple ludicrous resolution photos. You can see the chunk of missing wood near the binding where the upper bout meets the neck, not very big at all.
You can also see the slightly inaccurate routing for the back cavity. Again, nothing to complain about.
EDIT: Here's the Imgur album for...
The high E wasn't in the saddle properly, I'm genuinely impressed with your eagle vision!
I'll get some decent pics up of my own tomorrow, camera is on charge!
It arrived earlier today and I can confirm that it's as stunning to play as it is to look at.
Very small frets though! The pickups are more classic metal than modern or Djenty sounding and will probably be replaced with Oil City Blackbirds, as well as getting an earvana nut as per the modern...
I'm as intrigued as you are! I can't see a tonal advantage to it as it's reducing the break angle over the saddle and therefore lessening(?) the pressure over the saddle and maybe impacting upon the resonance transferred to the body?
I have no idea, it just looks ridiculously comfy to play...
Will do - we have the EXIF data from the official photos of the guitar so that should give a vaugely accurate date of production. will page through the siggery thread and see what people were saying about his guitars roughly when mine was made then!
I have just agreed to a trade (Postage paid for, will be here in 3 days) for the first siggery Heresy 6 on the old Siggery gallery on his site.
http://www.siggeryguitars.co.uk/gallery.htm (Bottom right, heresy 6)
I'm giving the bloke my old Dean Soltero SL, which had a neck that was too...
Im looking at a Travel Electro acoustic for busking, Camping and taking out with friends. What should I be looking for? It seems to be pretty much a two horse race between the Martin LX1E and Baby Taylor.
I don't like the idea of the Taylor GS mini quite as much.
Are there any higher end...
That would sound brutal!
I've put my IRT studio up for sale. NUX make a MIDI channel switcher that I can use with the Stonehead. So I can hook my POD HD500x up to the FX loop of the AMT to do my effects, and I can assign stonehead channel switching to POD Presets through MIDI too.
Ah Okay, either way though. Its an english speaking forum ;)
What is your budget in total btw? If you are after a quality budget 2x12 or 4x12 then the Harley Benton cabs from thomann can come with celestion v30's reallly cheap.
Please, please, PLEASE stop typing in polish. It makes the discussion useless for anyone else that comes across it by google, or has a question you might have ansered.
The Stonehead has 2 1/2 EQ's... It has 4 channels with shared mid and bass controls between clean/crunch and lead1/lead2 withbeach channel gettibg its own treble control.
Randall have done a hybrid 3 channel, SS clean and OD with a 3rd valve OD channel. Cant remember which one it is but the guy...
I am selling my Laney IrT studio in favour of an AMT stonehead.
Just sounds, brilliant.
My girlfriend owns a Blackstar ID 60 tvp, and that is fantastic too btw. It djents really well, and the cleans are great! I agree with the statement that Valves are best for breakup and light crunch tones...
Rg8pb, the PB version is a bit more expensive, but has a mahogany body with an oil finish rather than basswood and poly. It's a far nicer instrument than the standard Rg8.
