New Improved midi - chug - machine !

I figured I could improve on my initial project. I recorded 2 separate 'chugs' and 'pinch harmonics' panned them hard left and hard right so it would sound a little more better. I also downloaded the free "ample bass" plugin and can trigger 2 different bass notes as well. So, drums, guitars...

    Midi Djent-erator

I think this is ok to post here ... this is me on a midi drum pad triggering drums and djenty guitar ... Anyways, I saw a video of a dude triggering bass guitar notes with his drum-triggers. I thought it was cool, so I figured out how to do it in Reaper with a korg midi pad.

    is my guitar neck f'd?

I feel dumb for even having to ask about this, since I should be able to figure it out myself ... but I've done all the troubleshooting I can think of (I'm definitely not a tech) and can't seem to find a google-based answer. I hope this is the right place to ask this, also. Guitar : 2000 Ibanez...

    Drum Mics

I searched but couldn't find much help. My drum tech has become unreliable, so I need to learn how to mic drums myself. This also means I have to buy drum mics. I think the "Shure PGADRUMKIT7 7-Piece Drum Mic Kit with 1-PGA52, 3-PGA56, 1-PGA57, 2-PGA81, 3-A25D, 3-AP56DM, 7 XLR-XLR Cables and...

    schecter damien 5 pickup upgrade?

I love my Damien 5. It has EMG 40hz pickups. My issue is with output level. I have to crank the gain on my interface / vst / pedalboard super high. I can get some awesome tones, but the hiss sometimes ends up louder than the damn bass. I just replaced the battery, so I know it's not that...

PSA - free decent bass vst

Back story then VST info! I've come to the conclusion that; while i do love that thick grunty, distorted bass tone that Nolly and others have perfected, I always end up using a 'clean-ish' cranked SVT tone for my recordings and for the band I just joined. IMO the Line 6 HD500 Ampeg SVT model...

NPreAmpD - Mooer 015 Brown Sound

Pics first: Mooer 015 : https://i.imgur.com/guYR2pV.jpg Pwr-Amp : https://i.imgur.com/Rhlgzm3.jpg TLDR: Way better cleans than my 5150 and the gain channel is close enough! I love it!! I wanted to do 2 things: 1. Put together a smaller analogy rig to jam at home that 2. could be used as a...

    Thoughts on Hackintosh?

I found a couple older threads on this but I wanted to see what the current opinion of these are. I watched a ton of videos where people have really good luck building and using a stable hackintosh. 1 video showed a guy buy an old HP 6300 for $70 (i think) and get it working awesomely. So I'm...

    The evolution of my 5150

You guys know that Peavey 5150 amps start out like this (except they have all their dials intact...) : . . . . I like to tinker; so I removed the screws that hold the 'face-plate' in, removed the staples holding the black grill to the wood panel and put the grill back in place: . . ...

    Trackball vs Trackpad vs Mouse

I found a couple old threads, but wanted some updated opinions. Currently I use a regular wireless mouse. It works ok. I don't have any wrist pain. I'm just looking for a better way to navigate around in Reaper/Final Cut/Photoshop/etc. I wanted your opinions on the Apple Trackpad and/or...
