This was in-store stock at a local Canadian retailer. Around $2,600 CAD. I'm one of those guys who's always hearing positive words from other Ibanez prestige owners, but I've failed to come across one that impresses me.
I'm not sure if this was answered or figured out before, but regarding that 12th fret inlay on some of the models being possibly a 5fdp thing... Isn't this it?
Yes! I have a Daddario .007 from Amazon in my 30" Schecter for high E. You can bend like it's a
24 ¾" .009.
The Schecter C-8 FR has that insufficient 2005-ish cutaway, too.

Thanks for the up close picture! Yeah the difference is pretty noticeable. Side-dots (pardon my misspeaking before) look plastic, Offset Inlay dots definitely look like MOP.
