I really want to try one, this amp and the tc electronic flashback delay pedal really caught my eye from the NAMM videos, TC is great and managed to get one online order last week already. No news on the EVH as you say, seems like a really cool portable head.
hey buddy wanted to ask your opinion on nailbombs! i've got painkiller sets and miracle man sets in my mahogany schecter Vs with great results, you'll see a miracle man clip through my profile. Was wondering what you think about a c-bomb bridge and a-bomb neck in an alder ESP SV (randy rhoads...
thanks for the reply mate. you';ve got me really intrigued about this alder/warpig combination. Sounds like you've tried and tested it?
Ive heard clips of the brutal c-pig which I like but cant find much of the a-pig neck- wanted to ask you if it is as muscular enough for high gain lead tones...
how and why would it work better do u think? Would it give as good sustain, tightness? I'm worried it would be too shrill in the bridge, but I hear you guys recommending it a lot. What is the neck warpig like for lead tones- I assume you would combine an a-pig in the neck with a c-pig in the...
so would you recommend a ceramic or alnico warpig for my alder ESP SV? I think before spending on a warpig set I'll try my painkiller or miracle man in the ESP to see how it reponds...but no rush...the JB suits it so well and is nicely balanced for now- if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
you wanted a tight fireball clip- check this out

I tried a ceramic duncan distortion in my alder ESP SV- quite a small body -randy rhoads shape- and it sounded way to harsh and the trebles were very shrill- so I figured aggressive ceramic pickups may not work in that body. Put the JB back in and sounded awesome again. The only reason I swapped...
Painkiller is tight and aggressive but the miracle man is even tighter, you will be amazed. I've bought painkiller set for my schecter V and a miracle man for my other schecter V so I can make a good comparison because they are in identical guitars- both mahogany with rosewood fretboard and...
I recently put up some video demos of dactivator 7s in my ibanaz k7, wanted to let you know about an equally tight and fantastic pickup- the bareknuckle miracle man- I have the calibrated set and the neck pickup sounds as smooth as butter too, the bridge has harmonics galore and is the tightest...
O
Glad u like the tone, id recommend a heavier neck pickup if uwant a fatter sound with more sustain. It does do amazing clean tones however, really crisp.
Thanks mate, the dactivators destroy the stock pickups, I especially like the bridge pickup, I would have liked the neck to be more meaty since it can sound brittle at times.
The 100 is not worth the extra money in my opinion. It's extra features are midboost, separate gain for the clean channel which allows you to have a bit of a crunch if you want and built in noisegate. From samples on the net it seems that the new fb100 has an exaggerated midrange which I'm not a...
