The fact is that the abrasive paste contain some fiber of glass ... and in my case the movment of the string cause some of this paste remove, the abravise will consuming the string in a few minutes ... without this abrasive paste , the fret is pefect and also the strings ...
We probably have solved the problem...we have tried with a piece of fret without the polish...everything seems to works perfectly....we tried to polish the fret with the dreamel using a abrasive paste for metals and after 2 minutes the fret starts to kill the string and micro abrasions are...
Thisnis the photo of the 3rd fret .. it has a little sign in the direction of the string... it seems to be impossible but this little sign cause a grit when I move the string

Thanks Guys for the replyes ... The tunning machine are hipshot open gear and they are perfect.. also the bridge is from abm and it s smooth ... I m playng the guitar for about 20 years and I had always guitars with nikel std frets... never had a problem ... also I never consuming to much the...
Removing the strings and findnin the first fret some scratches ... using different abrasive paper to remove them easily... finishing the frets with a 3000 ... then polishing with a dremel ... everything looks so perfectly awesome... put the string and try it... after some minutes the problem...
So your string with ss fret have a longher life innyour case ... opposite to mine... I also see micro pieces of metal in the freatbord of the guitar and the string in congiuntion of the frets are fucked ...
Ok... the nut ia a graph tech , and its not wide , really perfect to the size of the strings... is the fanned frets probably that made this grip ? And also what brand of strings do you use with s steel frets?
Yes ... I clean always the freatboard and the put oil ... the strange thing is that I have changed 3 set of strings with a bad result... after one hour of playin the grip is coming and it change position ... sometimes in the first fret sometimes in the second ... sometimes in the low f# and...
I have a fanned 8 string guitar with ss frets, the freta are polished and they are perfect, but after playing one our with fresh string I noticed that I can t do bends with the F# and with the B string ( they are ghs 10-80 ) becouse the big wound string loose the nikel wound really fast ... and...
The recto is a best, and imo nothing can sound like it.
the krank is between the recto and a 5150 ....it s very fluid sounding and for my surprise a very mid forward amp.
