    The eclipse is the one model where I truly think the LTD is the much better buy over the E-II for reasons like you mentioned. You can also find a used EC-1000 for dirt cheap.

    I normally can't stand colored fretboards, but honestly something about it being richlite with matching color and material actually makes a colored fretboard look somewhat classy for once..... but the fishmans and evertune are a major no go for me.

    FWIW, baseball bat handles are on average an inch thick. Any guitar neck that starts at around an inch would be considered a "baseball bat guitar neck" to me :lol:
