    Id like to keep my higher string at a 10 13 and 17 and wouldn't wanna go any higher for a 64 for the 7th. I've thought about trying a 10-46 set for the 1st 6 but something tells me that'd be a little too loose, id like to stray away from the 10-52 set I've been using for years. What do you guys...

    I really like the feel of 10-52's on the 1st 6 strings of my guitar with a 25.5" scale. I'm saving to buy a new guitar with either a 26.5" or 27" scale. More than likely going with the 27" because i'm usually a full step down. Can anyone recommend me a similar set? I've thought about 9-46...

    Lookin for alot of tension in standard F#. Id like somethin along the line of tens, evenly balanced. Definitely good tension on the low b and f# as well. This guitar will be dropped a half step down from time to time.

    I've looked into string tension charts but I can't find one that goes above a 54. Pretty simple question. How much of a difference would there be between a 64 on a 25.5" compared to a 60 on a 27"?
