    Hi all, considering making the change from a 25.5" 7 string to a 26.5" or 27". People talk about the longer scale making stretches harder. Iv searched this online, but from what i can work out, adding an inch and a half to a guitar divided between 24 frets would do absolutely nothing noticable...

    26.5 for standard tuning ????????

    I've been checking out some Schecter 7 strings recently and all of them have a 26.5 inch scale length . Is it possible to use standard tuning on that scale length and still be able to bend properly , or do you have to stick to a dropped tuning ???????? :scratch:
