    OFR on 7420

ive seen countless posts with people asking if it was possible, i was a little curious myself after never really seeing the answer. judging from the looks of these pictures, id say the studs havent been moved therefore making it a direct replacement. :shred:

My aging RG7420's finish was a bit worse for the wear... so I decided to get it some new duds. Picstory in progress. It's not too late to turn back now... First, we gotta take out the electronics and trem. This doesn't look like a good idea. but, BEHOLD! Decisions, decisions...

I just got my RG7420 in the mail (pic-story will happen tomorrow) and I have a tremol-no and some new strings I want to put on it. Generic pickup recommendation thread (for RG7420)

    My modded RG7620 and RG7420

my stock RG7620 needs a refret brought to a local luthier for refretting. i then realized why not change the fingerboard to maple too. now it looks like a RG550 7string so why not mod it to look like a real RG550 :) got the RG7420 cheap without the trem and...

So I joined the Ibanez club! (56k = lame asses)

RG 7420. Was marked as a 7321:nuts: so I got it at a little better of a price + some extra strings since it has no nut-clamps. But I have some at home so it's all good. :) Didnt think this guitar would play as well as it did, so I bought it. :woohoo: Sounds ok stock. I really dig the...

    Ibby Identification

A friend of mine is looking to buy an Ibanez 7 from some guy. According to the pictures, it's Black Pearl, with large dots, a Bubinga stripe, triangular pickup tabs, and the serial is F0206795. Is this a 7620 or 7420?
