Any metal in Tennessee?

I'll be moving from Michigan to the Smyrna/Nashville area. I'm a bass player mainly and I'm looking to start or join a metal project. I mainly know Tennessee for it's huge country background. I was just wondering if there was anyone around there that would be interested in playing some metal. I'm currently in a band up here in Michigan but it's at the usual no one can get together and write stage. Anyone feel free to respond. Thanks.
