The Summer Insurrection Tour
You are being willfully ignorant because most of the dragging in this thread has to do with Ash and secondly with his lineup of nobodies. It's a lineup full of openers IMO, but I'm sure they'll all do a great job regardless. I don't get why folks are upset about it. If you don't like the lineup save your money and stay home.
I know I'm not going since Maiden isn't gonna be there. Don't see me cryin.

Ash's father? Yeah, sure, maybe.Dude made some dope movies ngl
Yeah, even if Ash had not responded in such a ridiculous manner, the announcement of the 2024 lineup would have elicited quite the backlash anyways because it's just a laughably bad lineup filled with nothing but 2 or 3 recognizable names with the rest of the lineup being opener bands who will forever be caught in the trap of just being permanent openers and nothing else until they inevitably call it quits. It’s hilarious because all the hate is deserved. It’s not even a remotely desirable lineup to see.
Everyone knows that covid coughs make raspy vocals more authentic. The jab has no place in a package tour, bruh. My bands don't hit the stage 'til they're wheezing.

Ash himself? Nope.
Look up some of the stuff that Ash wrote and directed when he was going through his film-maker phase. His whole film-maker phase was around the time that Sumerian Records started tanking as a label. Probably because he was funneling finances from the label into funding his little "passion projects" as an "aspiring film auteur" to be like his daddy.
The absolute sole selling point to the two productions that he put out under the company brand "Sumerian Films" was that the casts of American Satan and Paradise City were comprised of somewhat trending musicians from the rock and metal scenes at the time (which immediately dates the content). Other than that, it was downright terrible stuff and tanked in terms of both reception and return as you can well imagine.
Record labels (especially "metal music only" labels) already have pretty scrimped margins nowadays amidst the constantly shifting landscape of the current music industry and labels becoming irrelevant. So, to have a label head diverting the label's finances into self-funding his little film projects for shits and giggles...well...it's just not smart business. And thus, it's easy to see how Sumerian Records has pretty much vanished as a label in recent years.

Let's take a moment in this thread to remember back to when times were better and we actually had good things in this world...
Aside from that, I still personally think that 2010 was a peak year for The Summer Slaughter Tour in terms of lineup. And I'm pretty sure that it was a memorable year for quite a few other members on this forum as well.
