I really appreciate being surprised by all the people not in prog/djent/metalcore bands on this forum.

Last Fall's release Caveboy Boots is still up, working on a new EP currently:

I'm working on a new album and due to The Rona ruining a lot of plans, my project has been sort of inactive regarding live shows and whatnot. I wanted to give a personal thanks to people who supported the band and all that so I did a free release of two songs tied to the future album as well as a vid personally thanking supporters and giving an update on what's going on.

This is rad. Love that dark synthy stuff. You really have your aesthetic nailed down.

Old World Vulture - sludge/black/death/post metal

Really dig your instrumentation and songwriting on here. Instrumental music is hard to keep interesting but you did a nice job without making riff salad. Reminds me a lot of Latitudes' older material.

EDIT: Got through the whole album and wow, I really dig this stuff. Gazing and Mutinus Elegans I thought were especially good, super bonus points for using a whammy bar on something other than a wanky guitar solo (at least I assume that's how you get that wavering chord effect in Gazing, it sounds rad either way)

Thanks, I really appreciate you having a listen! How did you get that sound at the start and end of the song you posted?

Likewise, thank you for sharing.

OBNE Dark Star is the secret sauce.

Rat>Pharaoh>Dark Star, mix set to max so there is no attack just pure reverb swell, reverb and delay on the edge of self-oscillation, fed into a second long delay (VOX Time Machine) on the edge of self-oscillation to build it into a rich pad. The actual guitar playing is just a strummed open B chord every few seconds. It is extremely satisfying to feed the ambient dreamcloud machine.

Everything’s up in the air right now, band-wise, but here’s what I’ve got out there currently:
https://creepinghush.bandcamp.com/ Was working pretty hard up on new material when the world fell apart. People call it post-punk. I tend to say jazzy-doomy-existential dread induced music for the punks that got old.

https://deadonrevival.bandcamp.com/ on the other hand, is just straight up horror/zombie hardcore punk.

We have two albums and our brand new single up on Bandcamp. Melodic death metal, with some thrash, sometimes proggy, a few black metal parts and also some mellow sectuons.
