Overall I am getting some decent tones out of these. The neck pickup clean is really good. I am still trying to dial in the bridge pup. It seems a little harsh in the treble when pushed to sit in - at least to my ears anyways. The Bare Knuckle site has it lower in treble output than mids. I Para EQ'd it to bump 160Hz +1.5db and decrease 7300Hz -7db for my setup. The 7300 Hz -7db cut with a high Q seems to get rid of the harsh fizz. I also high cut at 8kHz but I am experimenting with a lower overall high cut from 6.5k to 7kHz. I play an Axe III Recto/6160 model.
