Been playing guitar around 20 years, STILL can't choose a guitar pick.

Years ago I sent my buddy a bunch of new and worn picks to compare and made a list up with generic descriptions for him. I found the document I made him and turned it to a .pdf to post here for anyone interested. It gives general info and my opinions and experience with them. Yes, I used to wear an Alien pick necklace, so what. lol.. The start gives some good tips I mentioned to be aware of when testing picks too. Hope some people find this useful. My work is done here. I go back and forth between two different picks: D'Addario / Planet Waves Black Ice Heavy and Dunlop 517P150 Primetone Small Triangle Smooth 1.5mm.

The Black Ice are pointy and a bit bigger than Jazz III, the Primetones have a really great rounded and sculpted tip that always feels sweet for sweeping and economy picking when I switch back to them.
