Play It LOUD!!!
Over the past two weeks, I received both of these beauties below...
For those wondering, these are my Schecter Silver Mountains...Toxic Venom on the left hand side and the 'original' on the right hand side. Both have mahogany bodies, although the Toxic Venom is quite heavier. These are my first multiscale guitars and these feel much more comfortable to my hands than the Ibanez RGD multiscale. The only 'negative' are the gloss necks (I prefer satin necks) but so far, I'm still able to move around the fretboard with no issue. The pickups are great when playing clean. I was expecting for the pickups to have a darker sounding tone but actually it sounds pretty bright. Overall, I'm quite pleased with both of these guitars!
