Martyr, a technical death metal band from Canada. I would think they would be a lot more famous because their founder/guitarist/vocalist, Daniel Mongrain, is also a member of the band, Voivod, and has done albums with Gorguts and Cryptopsy.

maudlin of the well. super diverse band, some songs completley pummel you in the face and others are purely light and clean the whole time and others switch between the two.
