Hai guize.

New song I wrote over the last three days.

Some notes :

- A little sketchy and jumbly at parts, but hey, I'm liking it so far.
- Most of the solo stuff will be re-done, so they are just there to be there at the moment.
- The song may even end up being different, but this is the skeleton so far.
- So far, 13 versions of this song exist. This is the latest.
- It's not 100% complete, maybe another 15 or so seconds will be added onto the end.

This also seems to be the song we will be hopefully shooting a music video to.

Brand new mix as well, using a different patch on the Axe-FX, as well as Trilian for bass stuffs.
(I think the bass might be a little loud.)

Drums are of course, a mix between Steven Slate, and Superior 2.0.

Guitar is my old ESP LTD MH-1000 with EMG's, 14-68 strings.
Tuning is half a step down with the low E dropped to an A#.
(A#, G#, C#, F#, A#, D#)

The song is seven minutes long and features many different emotions.

I hope you enjoy :

Edit : Should add that there will be vocals, and it make the song much more interesting.

Haha we have the same setup, Axe-fx/Trillian/S2.0/SSD.

Sounds bad asser 'n hell. That's a pretty cool tuning, I've know guys who tuned the two lowest strings in octaves, but a min7 is pretty cool.

The clean tappy part is sweet, love the dynamics of the song.

It's an interesting tuning which I use CONSTANTLY.
It allows for some very neat chords.
Chug notes are a little harder to do, as the easiest power chord is octave notes, and doesn't sound BR00TALZ compared to a drop tuning.

But overall I love it.

Shit dude...that's gorgeous.

I LOVE your drum arrangements. How do you approach composing them? I suck balls at it and have been trying to figure out how to go about it recently...haha. Being a guitarist and not a drummer, I'll take any tips you can serve up!

Sounds great! Axe-FX recorded direct? Impulses? I'm trying to learn more about the Axe before I pull the trigger and hearing recordings like this makes me have even more GAS!
