This is an EP that's taken me upwards of three years to write and record. I actually trashed a full album of material before writing this album, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
I'm interested in hearing your thoughts, favorite parts, least favorite parts, what you think of the tones, drums, everything - lay it on me. This is my first shot at a master as well. James Knoerl performed drums on this for me and it turned out killer. It also features a guest guitar solo from Alan Rigdon on the track "Mnemonic Devices".
Here's some of the gear I used:
- Line 6 Amplifi - tones for absolutely all stringed instruments - direct from the unit
- Ibanez RGD7321 with Dimarzios for the Drop G tracks
- Ibanez Iron Label 8, the walnut one, I can't even tell you the full model number/name - for all the 8 string tracks
- Ibanez RGIF7 for the final track
