Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar:
It hurts to put this up for sale, but whatever. Life doesn't always work out the way you want it to.
A beautiful custom six string done by our own member DJohns. It plays like butter, sounds fantastic, it's incredibly comfortable, and it has all premium hardware and materials. Anyone who knows DJohns work or owns any of his guitars can tell you that the craftsmanship is truly excellent. Nothing more to be said.
Specs:
- 25.5" Scale
- White Ash Body
- Body Thickness: 1-1/4"
- 1/2" Flamed Maple Top
- Flat top w/ beveled edge and belly carve
- Aqua-blue stain on the top, the rest left natural
- Satin/matte finish
- Slightly beveled edges on the back
- Custom headstock shape w/ 3+3 setup
- Solid maple neck w/ a thin Ibanez contour
- Birdseye Maple Fretboard
- Scarf neck joint
- H-S pickup routing
- Chrome Hipshot O-Ring volume knob
- Chrome Hipshot 6 bridge
- Chrome Hipshot Grip-Lok machine heads
- 3-way toggle switch
- No fretboard inlays, side dots only
- White graphtec TUSQ nut
- Ibanez-style jumbo frets
Unfortunately, the guitar took a little slip and sustained two minor dents. They're very shallow and very small dents, but dents nonetheless. The pictures offer great detail of the damage. Other than those two small dents however, the guitar is spotless.
If there's anything else I've forgotten on the list of specs, just ask me about it.
Accessories (hardshell case etc):
Included with the guitar is the D-Activator I installed a long time ago, plus a guitar bag.
