Hi All!

I'm looking for buyers for four custom Ibanez 7 string Universe replicas, which I am creating from Genuine Ibanez Parts and superior quality Made in the USA CNC routed bodies in high quality woods.

The necks and bridges are Genuine Ibanez RG's, with high quality bodies routed to Universe specification.

1. RG 7620 - Gold Original Floyd 7, Gold harware, Gold Tree of Life inlay, Gold Logo, white body and headstock, DiMarzio Blaze II pickups, Made in the USA Alder UV body with JEM handle.

2. RG 7620 - Standard RG hardware (Edge 7) gunmetal, Choice of DiMarzio's, Choice of body colour, headstock & logo colour (graphics/solid colours/what ever you want!), 1 pc made in the USA mahogony UV body.

3. RG 7620 - Standard RG hardware (Edge 7) gunmetal, Choice of DiMarzio's, Choice of body colour, headstock & logo colour (graphics/solid colours/what ever you want!), 1 pc made in the USA mahogony UV body.

4. RG 1527 Prestige - standard Prestige hardware, Prestige neck, choice of DiMarzio's, Choice of body colour, headstock & logo colour (graphics/solid colours/what ever you want!), 1 pc made in the USA mahogony UV body.

I'm advertising the instruments like this so as to give a buyer the choice of paint finish, pickups and anything else you can imagine. The bodies are brand new,, straight off the CNC router, 1 piece and very high quality making the finished instrument truly special.

Paint and finishing will be done to an exceptional standard by a professional specialist guitar finishing company, which specialise in airbrushing complex images and all types of guitar finishes. Anything you can imagine can be achieved.

I have been selling guitars, amps and equipment through eBay for years, and can provide references and security upon request.

In follow up to the moderator's request for references and prices here are more details.

I have been trading under the ebay user name Unarmed Civilian for almost five years now, selling high end guitars and amplifiers. I have over 350 positive feedback, and have provided value and a quality service for those I have dealt with.

The prices of the guitars vary and the cost of customisation will of course be up to the customers choices, which beyond the base instrument (RG 7620 neck and extremely accurate CNC routed mahogony body) are totally up to them.

I can arrange for solid colours, veneers, marquetry and air brushed graphics of an incredibly high standard to be applied to the guitars, at a price to be discussed with the customer. The artist who provides the spraying service is a real pro, charging realistic prices, and his finished work is only limited by the customer's imagination.

The prices of the base guitar will be as follows:

1. "Universe VWH" in white, RG7620 neck, white headstock; with gold Floyd, gold tree of life inlaid neck, white Blaze II DiMarzio's H/S/H, gold tuners, white pearl scratchplate and covers, Ibanez logo in gold with black tick.

£1250 GBP

2. "Universe BK" in black, RG7620 neck, black headstock, EDGE 7 trem and matching tuners. All other details are to customers spec.

£950 + any other customisation

3. Universe Body (unpainted), RG7620 neck and hardware. Colour and pickups customer's choice.

£750 + any other customistaion (inc. paint)

4. Universe body (unpainted), RG157 neck and hardware. Colour and pickups customer's choice.

£850 + any other customisation (inc. paint)

I have a selection of DiMarzio pickups, from which customer's can choose, to be included with the guitars at the prices mentioned. If other pickups are required I can source them at a reasonable price (much lower than RRP), however that will increase the delivery time while the pickups are in transit.

I have an account with a professional and well established courier company, which have been delivering amps and guitars for me for three years without a single problem. Through them, I can despatch the instruments ANYWHERE in the world securely, although there is a premium for international carriage at this time, due to political issues in air freight.

I also have a selection of original Ibanez hard shell cases, which are available for sale with the guitars for a small sum.

Overall, here is the oppurtunity to make your ultimate Ibanez 7 string. Custom hardware and graphics of your choice should make this a once in a lifetime oppurtunity and I will endeavour to make 4 people very happy with these guitars.

With regards to creating future custom guitars and 7 strings, I would like to make more than this initial batch, however demand does not seem to warrant the effort. As a player I've waited forever to be in the situation where I could have a custom airbrushed UV 7 string Ibanez, but it does not seem to be the case for anyone else, despite my initial conviction. Perhaps, no one has noticed my advert?

I think your prices are really high - and I think this may be the reason
people arent intrested.
I'm not trying to bash you or your deals but for 900 GBP I could custom
order a full custom from jaden rose - I think that selling these guitars in
these prices wont make any sense when you can buy a fully customized
guitar to your specs for less.
These are my 2 cents.

This is absolutely ridiculous.

The first is essentially the same as buying an unpainted replacement body for £400, which can be bought almost anywhere else for under £200.

The second is the same.

If you want ANY sales at all, you need to be realistic and price in line with the rest of the market.

Please bear in mind that an original UV are scarce and can sell for over £1,000. If you would like your choice of finish, hardware and accessories for less than that, perhaps I can help.
