Thats the first ibanez I've ever seen with truss rod adjustment at the 24th fret.

Very nice!

This is a tad plain though some of the spec is a real surprise here as Dino's used Floyd type bridges forever the pickup is a surprise too as the Duality model is passive and there isn't a 7 string version available at the moment.

While true the Duality isn't made in a 7 string yet, It is an Active pickup.

Yeah that was my mistake it's funny though cause all the press blurb I've read about them never actually mentions their active it just talks about how they're a blend of passive and active tone so I assumed they're SD's take on the DiMarzio Deactivator or something.

It's smart on thier part.

The second a guitarist hears that a given pickup is passive all they think is "so they're EMG?".

Hot damn, that is nice! It would be sweet if Ibanez made a new sig model out of this one, I would snap it up in no time! Highly doubtful they will, I'm sure, but a man can dream lol.

Dino probably asked Duncan's CS to make him a Duality 7-string. Given he's been with them for over 10 years, they're most likely happy to oblige.

But even then, this has some pretty major departures spec-wise.

Wow that's sexy! I love the wood grain. And the reverse headstock, single pickup, and no inlays really make this beauty look badass!

Really like the way it looks. Not any specs hardware wise that I would want but they did a nice job on that!
