Do-most-of-it bass for a guitar player?

Pretty much still in love, though I’ve noticed an odd thing: When I use the bridge pickup by itself, the A string in the middle seems like it’s down in level compared to the adjacent strings. I can compensate for it by hitting it harder, but that doesn’t seem like a long-term solution.

Edit: Know what? It might be a saddle radius issue. I’ll check when I get home.

The truth was even worse. At some point the bass side of the J pickup in the bridge position got pushed down and bound up against the height adjustment screws with the springs compressed. I freed the pickup and let it spring up to its intended height. Now I’m adjusting the EQ on everything again, but the strings are balanced. Problem solved.
