There's no such a thing like an expecific tone for a mix.
When mixing ALL instruments affect themselves, they complete themselves so a tone that sounds awesome alone could sound terrible in a mix and vice-versa.
That's why when a guitarist thinks his bedroom tone is awesome, it always sound terrible in a mix cause in their bedrooms there's no bass player so they pump up bass on their amps which will mess up the whole mix.
That's why mixing is an art and art is 100% based on personal tastes meaning what's good to one is carp to the other so there are no "ready for a mix" tones
