I am aware you can edit if it is within a certain time frame but why not let us edit the post whenever we want?

Maybe new info has changed things or maybe in the classifieds someone wants to drop their price a good amount but no one can see?

what's the difference from just making a new post in the thread? Maybe there has already been discourse and then after the fact OP makes changes and the rest of the thread no longer makes sense.

For classified, posting a new price also will give your posting a legit bump, so it's still in your favour to do that instead of an edit.

If anyone could edit any post any time, a bunch of valuable information kept here could be negated and made to be silly. Might as well have Adminibot attack the forum again. :squint:
