I notice that the highs on my mix are noticeably more defined than most other songs, especially on the guitars. But I like the mix.
I think bc the highs are dominating a bit and it makes the mix sound a bit scooped, and as a result the mix is a little quieter when normalized to -14lufs on loudnesspenalty.com than other tracks which I like
I've listened on many different mediums and the mix translates quite well, but just a bit quieter than other songs. What do you think? I also know that the kick's bass is not punching through too hard, however I'm not sure how much low end it can have bc of the 1/16th 220 bpm, if there is too much bass in the kick, everything gets buried
