This is my first project using the Fractal FM3.

I 've used the Friedman amp.
However, there are also two quiet guitars at 80% panning which are recorded using a real EVH5153 with Fredman Catharsis impulse response.

The Les Paul is loaded with Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz.

I 've used Superior Drummer 2 for drums and Spectrasonics Trilian for bass.

All feedback concerning guitar tone, mix and performance is welcome.

Everything about this mix is great to me, except the snare. It sounds like someone popping a brown paper bag. It dies too soon. If I were you I'd go into S2.0 and add the snare to Amb mid. then change the multi channel on it to 2 where your snare is. If that doesn't help give your snare sustain, I'd also add a little bit of reverb to it. You could also just add a Trans. on your snare top channel and just raise the sustain to 1.8db. That's just my opinion. That's the only thing I dislike about it. The whole mix sounds dope except for that snare that sounds paper-y. :D

Great playing, dude! You crushed that solo. It's a tough one.

I really like the guitar tones, but I think the drums could use a little work. I'd probably make the kick drum and toms a little less "clicky". It's hard to compete with a Jens Bogren mix, though!
