This interface has served me well over the last 1.5 years of owning it, but I'm upgrading to a 27" iMac and cannot use a firewire connection any longer. It's great. Everything works perfectly and the interface has not been moved or fussed with since I took it out of the box and set it up.

Just in case you are only selling it because you think you can't use it with your new iMac...you can.

I have the pro 24 and I upgraded to a 27" iMac, I just had to get an adaptor.

Hi guys,

As mentioned previously, our Saffire interfaces are fully compatible with Firewire or Thunderbolt (if using the official Apple adapter) - The adapter essentially turns your thunderbolt port into a compatible FW chipset.

Just thought i'd confirm this for you all :)

Best,

Miles
