from experience I had many of the monitors in this price range and higher, to me these are as close as you can get to HS yamaha in tone.. these have great headroom about 3 time more than the cheap JBL's that to me had pretty scooped misds/no power and sound too good. these Eris are similar to vxt krk's
I'm open to many things, guitar/audio/pc/gaming.. would trade for Pod HD
