Personally I think it sounds fantastic. The normal channel is great for 80s metal and the mid cut channel is perfect for tech death stuff. If you have a relatively flat sounding clean channel like I do (Engl Savage 120), it sounds great. If not, then you have the option to run this into the back of any amp direct to its power amp section and basically you'll have a herbert preamp section.

Great pedal. In no hurry to sell it because of that haha.
