Hey guys, I'm trying to find out if there's a decent complete starter kit for £475. I play metal I'm guitar mostly and want to eventually get a recording worthy kit, but I do need something to learn with first. My dream kit is the DW Performance kit in Cherry, so I'll get that next year if I do feel like it'd be worth it to continue playing. So far I've looked at Pearl's Roadshow kit, I like how they sound, but is there anything better in that price range?

Your best bet is to eBay etc for a second hand kit (pearl exports are plentiful) as £250 can get you quite a bit, then use the rest of your budget on a decent cymbal set. That way you've done a bit of future proofing should you want to get another kit further down the line
