Hey guys thanks for all the great tips. I will be taking this advice and applying it to my friends new washburn 7 string here shortly. However,,,all this great advice got me all pumped up on dialing in my 1527's. I set the intonation this morning on my An7/Tz7 1527 and BOING! it was close on the first 6 strings, and the Low B was not so close,,,, they are all right one the money now and holy Crap what a difference! I should say "EAR-GASM". Tomorrow I will probaby do the other one (Blaze/Blaze custom 1527).

Well, can you imagine a Microsoft guitar?
The strings would fall of randomly and for no reason anyone could fathom, and the updates!! And it would be slow as shit. And get viruses. And discount Viagra offers.

Right on thanks HB,,, hey on your UNI how good are the notes from the 15th to the 24th? My RG's both sound good in the lower register 1 through 12 or so,,, sound good for chords, depending on how dependent the chord is on the Low B. Anyway,,, what I've been noticing is,, the low B and E sound like wet ass for lead work starting at the 15th fret or so. The notes are still there just seems sort of blah, regardless of the string selection. I'm trying to find a comfort zone between sick low action to higher action that gives clear notes.

They're all pretty good, except the 24ths are smidgen flat on a few strings, ever so slightly, but that little bit didnt bother me. What guage strings are you using for your low strings? I prefer .56 for my B and that intonates just fine.
