Headroom on the newer 50w prs archon?

I only ask because i recently had a mesa rectoverb 50 combo and it couldnt not keep up in my band, was farting out something fierce.

Anyone play the archon 50 in a loud band setting?

It has a little difficulty cutting but it's fucking loud. I boosted mine with our last gig and kicked the shit out of the drummer and bassist. The amp is darker so I would definitely try some more extreme EQs like cranking the presence but it's definitely loud enough.
