I think in the end its not such a huge deal which pickups you're getting, especially if they're the first ones you'll be putting in those guitars. Its all about how you like the sound. Seems like CL/LF is good though, and for the most part it seems like they work fine in mahogany.

I think I'm gonna go with a Miracle Man calibrated set in the single cut. According to BKP's website and most of the clips I've found, I think these will gel really well with the body/woods of that guitar and the sound I am looking for:hbang::shred::agreed:

Because the caps on those may be different in thickness. 1 5/8 at the center and the other 1/4 inch as well as the difference in the neck. Me i would look into 14k A8 for the LP style one and go higher DC maybe even a Ceramic neck and bridge pending the tone you want.
