I have my guitar tuned to C and it's a Ravelle Deluxe.

The ( high C I guess it would be?) the one that's the thinnest keeps breaking easily. Last time it broke when I tried to tune it after it had come out of tune and recently it broke again when I unlocked the locking tuner. I checked the nut to see if there was any sharp edges but i don't feel any. It always breaks at the peg. Please help.

Sorry this is my first post.

Also I am using 12s

I have a stupid question, but just in case.....

Are they locking tuners and cut? The reason I ask is because I was having that issue with locking tuners where I cut and just used the lock, and they'd slip out. I had to wrap the string a couple of times and then there was no problem.

Take the pin out of the tuner and check to see if it's put in the right way or if it has any sharp points where it touches the string. Also feel around the hole of the peg for any sharp spots and file them away if there are any.
