Image sizing....

Ok, so I'm trying to put up a pic story, but my pics are MASSIVE and I need to size them down. ANy recommendations on the size, so as to not kill anyone's computer.....

And how in the hell do I resize anyway??? I keep trying, but it's cutting out most of my pics and all I get is the corner...

For picstories, 500x(whatever) or so is what I use.

If you don't have photoshop, try Paint Shop Pro.

I think there's a microsoft powertoy image resizer...actually I know there is and it's free. I haven't used it, though.

I downloaded a 4 meg program called Photo Filtre from Snapfiles.com and I don't miss Photoshop at all!

IrfanView is probably one of the best (and easiest) quick image editor there is.

It's definitly my favorite. Nothing too fancy, just the basics: resize, saturation, hue, gamma, etc.
