I was just playing some bebop licks on my classical, and I'm wondering why I don't do it more...

For trad. jazz (i.e. pre-fusion), the nylon strings seem slightly more appropriate tonally...

Anyone agree with me? Disagree?

...And before anyone asks, yes, I have heard Ralph Towner and John McLaughlin...

I want a 8-string classic with build in pickups, that would make some sweet horror-jazz.

i absolutly love the tone of nylon strings, so smooth, i have my normal no classical alverez strung up with some and it sounds so sweet, and if i ever get stranded in the woods, i can go fishing with the strings
