Out there, somewhere
Let me start off by saying that anybody who is looking for a custom guitar should really go talk to Rob at KxK. His workmanship is absolutely fantastic and he is quite simply a pleasure to work with.

Anyways, I finally managed to take this out of the case and not sit dows an immediately start playing it

First, to reveal what pickups are in this monster

Yup, I went with BKPs. Coldsweat neck and Nailbomb bridge to be precise. They sound fantastic :agreed:

Now onto this ungodly work of art Rob created for me. The paint looks differeny based on the light, so I have a few different shots of the same views.

A little decoration to spice things up

And the fretboard is the nicest piece of birdseye I've ever seen

Now let's take a look from behind

A little closer

The body carve/cutaway gives this the best fret access of any guitar I've ever seen.

And now let's finish it off with a little head(stock)

Hmmm I forgot to take a pic of the new G&L cases Rob is using, but they're awesome. Black on black, very similar to the Ibanez UV1000 cases but with a more plushy lining inside and a better constructed compartment under the neck.

I decided to add a few more. First off is a pic of the angled output jack:

Then by request a few pics of the side profile of the neck, including the side markers

If you get a chance. Any way to get a side shot of the neck to see the binding and profile?

I've been telling a couple people already that Rob's either really close to, or already in the same league as a Grover or Wayne. Stuff like this only reinforces that sentiment. Absolutely droolworthy work.

Congrats!
Looks amazing, I wish someone local to me had one so I could check it out.
Put a floyd on that and it's pretty much perfect (for me).
I've got that pickup combo in my Carvin
how do you like em?
In a couple of those pictures the low B string looks really close to the edge of
the fret board, I'm assuming it's just the angle of the picture?
that thing looks extremely bad ass! :hbang:
