Unlike rapping there is no substitute to be as athletic as those dudes. Cant wait to see the hilarity.

Dude is terrible at skating. I mean, it's not like he's any better at rap, but does he really think he can make a career out of pro skating?

I mean, it's possible that he could make a career out of it. The last time he decided to pick up something new it went really well.

watch him spend all his money and get back to rapping, because there is no way he's going to make a living out of skating if he stays at the same level he's at

All I can think to say is... anyways...

He thinks he will be the best? In a year? Maybe he was joking, but coming from somebody who used to skate a lot (I still do as an occasional hobby), it will be a while before he can do anything, especially considering he sucks that bad at it right now.

At least he isn't rapping though.

I'm disappointed because I like skateboarding. Why do people think that because they have money they suddenly have the talent to accomplish anything?

A person who has made thousands of songs and has been rapping for TWENTY years wants to do something else with his life? OH SO COMICAL.

Seriously guys, can a person not just live there life? You don't like his music? don't listen to it. Don't take a metaphorical shit on him just because he is doesn't make music that suits you.

Thank you so much for this. I can't decide whether I'm horrified or immensely happy with the fact that he did that.

well... being as successful at rapping as
he is, you get to a point where people in
your camp won't tell you 'no'.

i think that's how the whole guitar debacle
escalated, imo.

this is all speculation on my part, as i've no
ties to him whatsoever. upon pondering such
a scenario, i find myself questioning why i would
tell the guy that's signing my checks he sucks
at anything? just a bit of food for thought.
i am in no way playing devil's advocate here,
just saying that riding a money-train tends to
foster behavior that will keep it rollin'.

personally? i think, had he taken a more serious
approach to learing guitar thoroughly prior to
unveiling his new-found 'prowess' to the world;
he would've earned alot more money and respect
in the longrun from new fans. with as much talent and
money he has at his disposal, i find his poor approach
a surprise. thumbing his nose at it instead, has made
him look like a fool. i'm sure members of his circle are
inclined to 'silently' agree..

all this puts an interesting context to putting your money
where your mouth is. he's definately made some very
exaggerated claims as of late, so his mouth is big.
however, he has far more than enough money to fill it
hundreds, of thousands of times ad nausium.

on a more positive spin, he is an entertainer.
i for one, find his half-hearted attempts very entertaining.

He doesn't even write his own music, man. I have so little respect for Lil Wayne that I wish I could go beyond metaphors take a literal shit on him. Because that's what I feel like he's doing to me every time I hear one of his songs. Sometimes I can't just not listen to him. He's like the rap equivalent of pop one-hit wonders - the music he performs is everywhere, sometimes you can't get away from it. I don't even listen to the radio and somehow I hear Lil Wayne more than enough.

Normally I'm pretty respectful of musicians, but I don't really see much value here..
