So I bought a computer last year from one of my friends. He had installed superior drummer three cracked with all the expansion packs as well as some cracked NDSP plugins. I own EZ drummer 2 and Archetype Gojira, so I deleted the pirated stuff and tried to log into my licensed software.

The NDSP plugin loaded up fine, but for some reason EZ drummer loads all the expansions packs that were on before that I don’t own, even though I deleted them. I tried literally deleting every piece of toontrack software on the system, but even with a totally fresh install from my logged in account, it loads all the other plugins and locks me out asking for a license.

Is there any way to make this work? It seems totally crazy I can completely delete them and then they reinstall even when I don’t select them. I’ve even manually deleted the data from the program and it still shows up and asks for a password.

Any help is appreciated.

Reinstalling Windows is probably your best bet.

Cracks / keygens are usually loaded with some kind of malware, so I'd start fresh anyways.

Reinstalling Windows really is probably the simplest solution. It's likely finding references to the cracked versions in the Windows Registry, so the only other way to get rid of them would be to manually hunt down any relevant registry entries, and, well... the human lifespan just isn't that long.
