I would also say the H-307, because I owned an H-207, and the quality on that was amazing for the price range of that guitar. The 307 is DEFINITELY a cool guitar, and it's not black like the viper.

The ec-1000 is a nice guitar if you're looking for another 6 string :)

H-307 hands down. The finish is gorgeous, the neck on the old horizons are real comfy. Plus it has the cockstock!

you should also check out the SC-607B if you haven't yet...best...neck...ever (perhaps not actually THE best neck EVER, but it is pretty damn fantastic)

Alright thanks for the info really appreciate it alot thanks ^_^
was hoping someone would give more in depth info on the viper tho :-s
just like how the neck and bridge onto how they both hold up an all
and yes i know agile guitars was gonna consider it but thought to myself
"is that a guitar that i really would buy?" like on a satisfactory point of view haha
but yea i would rather have an esp any day over an agile personally :]

also would the H-307 perform good live on stage? :-o
is it that great of construction of those horizons of back then?

yeah the build quality is pretty good on the higher up ltd models. its mahogany so thats a plus. i would still suggest giving agile another chance. there is a douglas on rondomusic.com for 190 plus you can find used interceptors for pretty cheap on here. i just got one and i couldnt be happier.

1. the viper will neckdive terribly

I wouldn't say that.
Though I own and play the Viper 417 just since yesterday, the neck didn't dive such bad. At least not more than towards staying horizontally. And that's to problem using a good strap and the forearm.
