My "Fine tuners" are not so fine

I have an Ibby ZR trem. I quite enjoy it. However, a few of my fine tuners are super tight no matter if they are screwed in or low. It's really frustrating b/c they've pretty much always been like that since new. What do you guys suggest to fix them? Thread grease?

Back it all the way out, clean it, then lube it.

Figured. What do you recommend I use to lube? I have some gun oil and fishing reel lube, if you think that's the stuff to use?

Anything that doesn't cause build up, so WD-40 is out. I just use a drop of grease, or some Big Bend's. You just need to get a fraction of a drop between the threads. I don't really have experience with the reel lube, but the gun oil should work pretty good.

As for cleaning, some Naphtha on a Q-tip does wonders.
