I managed to find this amp on craigslist for $750. It's my first dual rectifier but I've had two triple rectifiers in the past. This amp sounds amazing. I'm boosting it with a savage drive which makes it ridiculously tight and aggressive.
Quick question though. When I have the effects loop engaged with nothing in it (so the send and return ports aren't connected at all), the output is real low and adjusting the loop master doesn't really change the volume at all. The amp starts working normally when I connect the send and return ports with a cable. I'm assuming it had a parallel to series effects loop mod? I'm just confused a bit because with the loop on and nothing in it, signal is still getting to the power amp, and I thought that wouldn't be the case with series effects loops. I don't know though cause I've never owned an amp with a series effects loop.
